Painful, poorly-balanced hooves could be a thing of the past for the horses cared for by a Brooke-trained farrier who receives this vital tool kit. The kit contains hoof-trimming tools, such as a hoof cutter, rasp, hoof knife, as well as a hoof pick, so they can carry out their important work maintaining horses’ hooves.

Kits are given to farriers after they have been formerly trained. This creates a demand for quality farriery, which in turn encourages other local farriers to invest in their own kits too. The result is more working animals have healthy hooves thanks to having access to professionally trained and properly equipped farriers.
